Who publishes this
Comunidade Brasileira Inc, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Orlando, Florida, doing business as CBA Orlando. Knee Battle is the ninth site in a family of ministry resources — daily audio, devotionals, Bible study, baptism, marriage, and Sabbath School — all free and all trilingual.
What we believe prayer is
Honest speech with a God who is personally present, made possible not by our technique but by what Jesus has already done. Prayer is a relationship, not a mechanism. It can be learned, but it cannot be operated.
We do not promise outcomes
We will never tell you that praying correctly will save your marriage, heal your body, return your child, or change your finances. We believe God hears, and we believe obedience is ours while results are His. We will never tell you that your prayer failed because you did not have enough faith.
We are Christ-centred, not devil-centred
Scripture acknowledges spiritual conflict, and so do we. But you will not find anything on this site that instructs you to speak to, name, command, or negotiate with demonic powers, and you will not find rituals, deliverance scripts, or generational-curse teaching. Christians who talk constantly about the power of Satan have usually stopped talking about the victory of Christ. Our confidence is entirely in Him.
We are not therapy, medicine, or emergency care
This is an educational and spiritual-formation ministry. Nothing here is psychotherapy, clinical counselling, medical advice, or legal advice, and none of it substitutes for professional or emergency services. Where a page touches marriage, fear, money, or health, we say so plainly and point to real help.
Your safety comes first
If there is violence, fear, or coercive control in your home, or if you are thinking of harming yourself, prayer is not the only step. Your safety is never a "faith problem" to push through. Call 911 in an emergency, or call or text 988 in the US for mental-health crisis support.
Your privacy
Everything you write on this site — prayer cards, the 31-day tracker, assessment results — stays in your own browser on your own device. We never see it, it is never uploaded, and there is no account. Clearing your browser data deletes it permanently.

About the film
People often arrive here after seeing a film about a woman who turned a closet into a place of prayer. We are glad, and we owe that idea nothing but acknowledgement — the practice itself is centuries older than any movie. We are entirely independent of that production. See our note on it for details.
